WE CREATE PUBLIC ART
FIERCE-ART is an international Public Art studio based in Porto, Portugal, founded by Claudia Costa and Pedro Guerra in 2020.
The studio specializes in creating Contemplative Public Art, serving as a placemaker in a world where public spaces hold growing importance. Public art fosters community connections, strengthens identity, and cultivates a sense of belonging. Through art installations, curation, and creative direction, Fierce-Art collaborates with cities, festivals, real estate developers, municipalities, and private organizations to bring their vision to life.
Since its inception, FIERCE-ART has been active on the international stage. Building on this experience, Fierce-Art was invited in 2022 to join one of the creative teams for the World Cup in Qatar, contributing to the Boulevard Activation Fest.
Back in Portugal, the studio’s work continued to gain recognition: in 2024, Giant Flowers, a public art installation in Porto, was awarded 1st Prize. The following year, Fierce-Art received 2nd Place and an Honorable Mention for The Hive, further solidifying its reputation for creating impactful and engaging public art installations.
Cláudia and Pedro have also shared their expertise on public art as a distinguished speakers at conferences in Doha, Boston, and New York, engaging audiences with their vision of transforming public spaces through large-scale artistic interventions.
